This incredible experience will take you
from the busy city of Kathmandu and will fly you across the Himalayan Mountains
to the start point of the historical route to Everest base camp.
Whether you join us as a group or as an individual this expedition allows
you to work together – to challenge yourselves and to do something quite extraordinary
with your lives.
Snowball Expeditions interest in trekking to Mount Everest base camp also helps to support
the local schools on route. Each person we take to this incredible place allows
us to donate money towards building projects and schemes to aid the children’s
education.
This is a great opportunity to see Mount Everest, to interact with the
communities on route and to immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring scenery that
is the Himalayas.

each expedition so to secure a position on the team, download the following booking form
and send it to the address on the form along with the deposit for £200. You will
then be sent a joining brochure with all the information needed for your

Expedition Summary
|
Day 1
|
Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1400m), meet the Nepalese guides and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel Vaishali **** (four star).

Day 2
|
Preparation for the trek to Everest Base Camp – Overnight at Hotel Vaishali. Day’s sight seeing around Kathmandu.
|
|
Day 3
|
Transfer to airport to fly to Lukla (2800m). Trek to Phakdingma (2652m). Lunch on route. Dinner and lodge.
|
|
Day 4
|
Acclimatisation day and visit to local school which is supported by Snowball Expeditions.
|
|
Day 5
|
After breakfast trek to Phakdingma – Namche Bazaar (3440m) village in the clouds. Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
|
|
Day 6
|
Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. A short day’s hike to visit a school funded by the Sir Edmund Hillary foundation along with the support from Snowball expeditions. Breakfast, lunch dinner included with an over night stop at a lodge.

Day 7
|
After breakfast we trek from Namche Bazaar to the Monastery at Tengboche and the view of Everest at (3867m) Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 8
|
After breakfast we trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4343m) Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
|
|
Day 9 |
After breakfast we trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m) Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at a lodge. |

Day 10
|
After breakfast we trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5288m) after lunch we hike up to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep to overnight and have dinner at a lodge.

Day 11
|
Early morning excursion to Kalapattar (5545m) for a sunrise view of the Mt.
Everest range. After breakfast we trek from Gorakshep to Pheriche (4250m) Lunch
on route. Dinner and overnight at a lodge. |
|
Day 12
|
After breakfast we trek back from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. Lunch on route.
Dinner and overnight a lodge.
|
|
Day 13 |
After breakfast we trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Lunch on route. Dinner and
overnight at a lodge. |
|
Day 14 |
Fly to Kathmandu. Freshen up! - Overnight at the Hotel Vaishali. |
|
Day 15 |
Kathmandu valley sightseeing. This can be done around Durbar Square,
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Pashupatinath, the Hindus holiest temple.
Overnight at Hotel Vaishali. Final team meal in a traditional restaurant. |

Day 16 |
Final departure home.
