Arctic Training

Once at base camp your team will spend a few days acclimatising and going through some light training. Most of the activities would have been covered in the UK but this time you will practise them in Zero temperatures.

We will move away from the camp and venture locally into the hills of Cornwallis island giving you a sense of the arctic but in a safe training area.

This is the beginning of your expedition and a great stepping stone for things to come.

Training Summary

Your SBX guides will cover areas such as:

  • The behavior of the Polar Bear and related saftey procedures for encounters in the wild.
