Costs
To secure your place on a Discover the Arctic expedition, we only ask for an initial deposit of £200.
The total cost of the expedition (the remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to your trip) is £1750
What’s included
- Transfers to and from Longyearbyen Airport.
- All guide and National Park fees.
- Snowmobile hire.
- Husky dog team hire.
- All snowmobile and dog mushing guide fees.
- Main meals and accommodation during the trek.
- Farewell meal in Longyearbyen.
- A Snowball Expeditions t-shirt & kit bag.
- Team photograph and certificate.
- Hire of polar expedition boots.
- Hire of Snowball down jackets.
- Hire of snowshoes.
What’s not included
- International flights.
- Kit or equipment (except where specifically stated).
- Water (except when out on expedition), soft drinks or alcoholic drinks.
- Travel insurance.
- Meals other than breakfast while in Longyearbyen.
- Any additional nights’ accommodation in the event of missed flights or bad weather.
